About Meetings
Meetings are held on third Wednesday evening (7:30 pm) of the month from October to May. There is a short business discussion followed by a presentation on local or other history, then refreshments The June and September meetings often consist of an excursion to a local historic site. December is a pot-luck supper.
Notices of future meetings are posted on this website, placed in local papers and in the public libraries and other locations in Manotick and North Gower, and are mailed to all RTHS members.
All interested persons are welcome to attend the meetings, other events, and excursions.
The meetings are held in a number of locations around the former Township in order to even out the driving necessary for RTHS members and their guests to attend.
Venues are announced in the newsletter. Addresses and directions are in the Meeting Sites page of this site.
